Hi Cub Scout Pack 985 Families! Announcing our Roswell Cub Scout Pack 985 KICK OFF EVENT!
Come join the Extravaganza on September 24th @ 4pm at the Scout House (50 Houze Way, Roswell)! It will provide a fun-filled, hands-on learning experience to Cub Scouts, Scout leaders and adults of all levels of Scout experience. This event will help prepare adults/parents/guardians to be well rounded and knowledgeable in all aspects of Scouting as well as give our Cub Scouts a wonderful memory of Scouting adventures!
This years event will kick on on Saturday, September 24th at 4pm. As an added plus to the event, any and all Scout families are WELCOME to tent camp on property Saturday night with a pack out time of Sunday (25th) by 8am. This is a fun opportunity to camp out, air out the tent and practice close to home! You are able to set up your site starting at 3pm on the 24th. We do have access to the Scout House for restroom facilities, however, no one is allowed to camp in the house overnight.
This event is the kick off for the Pack 985 Cub Scouts 2022-23 year. We are excited to re-build our pack with this amazing group of families. Adults, siblings and Scouts are welcome to attend the event. See agenda below. Please RSVP to the invite so we will have an idea of how many burgers/hot dogs we will need for Dinner (compliments of the Pack). Fun adventures (including the human size foosball game) will be starting at 4:45pm.
If you have your Class A uniform, please wear it for the start of the event (Opening Ceremony) and bring a change of clothes (Class B if you have it - or a Blue t-shirt) for the games and fun. Looking forward to a great year.

Announcements of $70 for Pack 985 Dues, Review Future Events
Popcorn Fundraising (online only)
Change to Class B Uniforms (or change into a Blue colored t-shirt as temporary Class B)
4:45pm Games begin
6:30pm Dinner Served
7:00pm Dessert Serving (S’mores)
Campfire Ceremony (Cubmaster)
Closing Ceremony (Class B Uniforms)
8pm Possible Movie for those Camping On-site
10pm Lights Out
Sunday, September 18th
7:00am Breakfast (donuts/coffee/juice)
7:30am Site Cleanup
8:00am Must be packed up and out before Church begins
Cubs to attend in Class A shirts at beginning of Saturday 4pm start for Opening Ceremony.
Cubs can change into Class B (or blue color t-shirt) when the games begin.
