What better on a late summer evening than running around many different games until you’re tired, sitting round a campfire eating dinner while listening to stories, watching a movie, and then retiring to your own tent a few feet away for a good night’s sleep, surrounded by your friends.

Pack 985’s Extravaganza promises all that and more. We’ll set up multiple different game stations, and rotate the Dens through all of them. Each game is different, but each one is lots of fun and provides their own challenges.

At Pack 985, we pride ourselves on giving a good campfire ceremony, and this year will be one of our best. Alongside the usual ceremonies, we will be retiring a proud USA flag, and the boys will get to see how we do it in Pack 985, by one of our Veterans. The Scouts are one of only two organizations officially endorsed to retire the flag, so this is an experience they cannot get anywhere else.

Movie night is by popular vote, and camp chairs are required as the boys slide into tiredness, we’ll bring the smores. Don’t forget to bring your own tent!
